GUNNISON, Miss. — A community clothing drive aimed at helping local families in need is scheduled for later this month in Gunnison.

The event, organized by local resident Selina Clay, will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on May 30 at Gunnison Town Hall/Library.

She is asking community members to donate gently used clothing to support individuals and families facing hardship. The drive is intended to provide essential clothing items while encouraging residents to come together in service of the community.

Donations will be accepted throughout the event.Community members seeking additional information or wishing to coordinate donations can contact Clay at 662-402-4724 or by email at [email protected].

Clay hopes the effort will strengthen community support networks and provide relief for those in need across the Gunnison area.
