CLEVELAND, Miss. — Ten-time Grammy Award nominee and Grand Ole Opry member Jamey Johnson will open the Bologna Performing Arts Center’s Fall 2026 Mainstage Series at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at the BPAC on the Delta State University campus.
Limited seats remain for the one-night performance.
Johnson has built a career blending traditional country music with contemporary influences. His songwriting credits include songs recorded by artists such as George Strait and Willie Nelson, and he is known for songs including “In Color” and “Give It Away.”
His song “In Color” has received a five-times-platinum certification, while “High Cost of Living” has been certified platinum. “That Lonesome Song” and “Between Jennings and Jones” have received gold certifications.
Johnson’s latest project, “Midnight Gasoline,” is his first solo studio album in 14 years. The album was recorded at Cash Cabin Studio and continues his focus on traditional country songwriting and personal storytelling.
Opening the concert will be Sadie McLayne, an emerging artist from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. McLayne’s music combines country, soul and rock. She has performed in Nashville and throughout the region.
