JONESTOWN, Miss.–A man who was being pursued Thursday by Coahoma County deputies was caught without any violence, said the department in a Facebook post.
It was Thursday morning that deputies put out an alert for Dontavious Devonte Moore, saying they were looking for him along Blanche St. in the Jonestown area. At the time they believed he was armed and dangerous and might have been suicidal.
Deputies did not elaborate on what charge he was wanted.
About five hours later they posted that he had been captured. The sheriff’s department had help from Coahoma County Search and Rescue, the Tunica County and DeSoto County sheriff’s departments.
