MOORHEAD, Miss. — Mississippi Delta Community College has named Joseph Jackson as its new director of marketing and digital strategy, with his appointment taking effect July 1.
Jackson will help lead the college’s marketing, branding, digital communications and content strategy efforts as part of the institution’s newly established Department of Strategic Communications. In addition to those responsibilities, he will serve as the college’s sports information director, overseeing communications for Trojan athletics while helping share the stories of students, faculty, staff and alumni.
A native of Belzoni in the Mississippi Delta, Jackson brings more than seven years of experience in higher education communications. College officials said his background in strategic communications and storytelling will support student success initiatives and enrollment growth.
Mississippi Delta Community College said it is excited to welcome Jackson to its communications team as the institution continues expanding its marketing and digital outreach efforts.
