North Bolivar Consolidated School District Names New Superintendent

MOUND BAYOU, Miss. — The North Bolivar Consolidated School District has announced the appointment of Dr. Addie Miller as its new superintendent, effective July 1, 2026.

District officials said Miller previously served as the district’s federal programs director and brings years of educational leadership experience to the position.

In announcing the appointment, the district highlighted Miller’s commitment to academic excellence, student achievement and continuous improvement. Officials said her familiarity with the district’s schools, students and community will help guide the district through its next phase of growth.

School leaders expressed confidence in Miller’s ability to lead the district and encouraged community members to welcome her as she assumes the role.

Miller succeeds the district’s current administration at the start of the new fiscal year and will oversee academic, operational and strategic initiatives across the school district.
