OLIVE BRANCH, Miss.–An Olive Branch Police officer died this weekend in an ATV wreck, said the police department in a news release Monday.
Lt. Ronnie Flanigan was known for going above and beyond the call of duty, according to the city. He started with the department in 2003 and was promoted to lieutenant in 2014.
The city did not provide any details on the wreck.
Flags will be at half staff on the date of his service, which is Thursday, April 24.

Flanigan’s wife, Martha, during this difficult time. Our hearts also go out to Lt. Flanigan and Martha’s son and daughter, who also serve as first responders for the City.
