PANOLA COUNTY, Miss.–A Panola County deputy was hurt Monday afternoon when a car he was trying to pull over hit his patrol car.
That deputy’s name is Lt. Clyde Gill. A Facebook post from the Sheriff’s Dept., asked for prayers for Gill, saying he tried to pull that car over shortly after 2 p.m. because he felt they were driving in an unsafe manner.
The car turned onto Hudson Rd., and hit the patrol car at a high rate of speed.
There were one adult and two juveniles in the car, according to the Sheriff’s Dept., and one of those juveniles was flown to the hospital along with Deputy Gill.
The other people were arrested, with charges pending.
