PANOLA COUNTY, Miss.–The deputy who was hurt Monday afternoon when his patrol car was hit by a car he was trying to pull over, was released from the hospital.
According to a Facebook post from the Sheriff’s Dept., Lt. Clyde Gill was treated and released the same day after being airlifted to the hospital, along with one of the minors in the suspect car.
“Thank you for all of the prayers and shares. They worked!” commented the department.
The department said the car was occupied by one adult and two minors. The post did not indicate the condition of the minor who was hurt.
Charges are pending in the incident.
