PANOLA COUNTY, Miss.–You can participate in a ceremony to honor Panola County Sheriff’s Deputy Kevin “Skinny” Leland, who died Friday from complications from pneumonia.
Leland served as school resource officer in the county schools.
A “Sea of Blue” procession begins 6 p.m. Thursday at Henderson Funeral Home, heading to North Panola High School on Hwy. 51, then a loop at Como School, then heading back to Henderson Funeral Home in Sardis.
Leland’s death was announced Friday on the Panola County Sheriff’s Dept. Facebook page.
