CLEVELAND, Miss.–Paul Janoush will be the new mayor of Cleveland, defeating his opponent outright in the Democratic primary Tuesday.
The unofficial results had Janoush with 1, 609 votes, while his opponent, Adriann Steen-Brown had 487.
In Greenwood Kendrick Cox and Lamar Liddell will face each other in the April 22 runoff. They were the top two candidates in the Democratic primary in that city. Cox had 534 votes and Liddell had 496.
