MOORHEAD, Miss. — Mississippi Delta Community College announced that State Rep. Otis L. Anthony will serve as the keynote speaker for its Spring 2026 commencement ceremony on May 8.
College officials said Anthony will address graduates as the institution celebrates its 100th anniversary, marking a century of service and education in the Mississippi Delta.
Anthony, who represents portions of the Delta in the Mississippi Legislature, has been recognized for his work supporting education and community development. College leaders said his selection reflects MDCC’s commitment to highlighting leaders who have made a lasting impact in the region.
Graduation ceremonies are scheduled to take place on the college’s Moorhead campus. Additional details about the event are available on the college’s website.
