CLEVELAND, MS — Authorities are actively searching for a missing 72-year-old man last seen in Cleveland, Mississippi, on the evening of February 22, 2025.
Amos Hughes, an African American male, was reported missing after being last seen at around 9 p.m. while driving a grey 2013 Ford Taurus on Rosemary Road. Hughes is described as standing approximately 6 feet tall and weighing about 180 pounds. The vehicle he was driving is missing a license plate and has a sticker on the window bearing the numbers “3734.”
The Bolivar County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation and is urging anyone with information regarding Hughes’ whereabouts to come forward. The sheriff’s office can be contacted at 662-843-5378.
Authorities are asking members of the public to report any tips to local law enforcement or the sheriff’s office as the search for Hughes continues.
