Friday, members of the Starkville Police Department were honored to join other units from across the state in paying tribute to Monroe County Chief Deputy Curtis Knight.
Knight served the law enforcement community for 28 years, and during that time, many of our own officers, past and present, worked alongside and were trained and mentored by him, crediting him for instilling in them their passion for serving and protecting.
The department was honored to be a part of his final farewell.
