GREENVILLE, Miss.–Two people who were in a stolen 2006 Chevy Cobalt led Greenville Police on a chase this week.
Officers said they spotted the car on North Theobald and tried to get the car to pull over. But, the people inside refused to stop and had officers chase them outside the city limits. The Washington County Sheriff’s Dept. joined the pursuit.
The car eventually stopped on a railroad track on Scott St. in Metcalfe.
It turns out the two men inside were trying to make it to their home turf. Both Christopher Dean, 18 and Dkhari Ware, 21, who are both from Metcalfe were arrested and charged with possession of stolen property. Dean is also charged with felony fleeing and several traffic violations.
