GREENVILLE, Miss. — A teenage girl was fatally shot Friday evening in Greenville, police said. Officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 400 block of Cedar Street around 8:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a vehicle had been struck by multiple bullets. Authorities later learned the victim, a teenage female, had been transported to Delta Health System’s Emergency Room, where she was pronounced dead. Her identity has not been released.
