The warming center provides a safe space for those in need of shelter during the ongoing cold weather. Local officials are urging community members to help spread the word and ensure that everyone who needs assistance is aware of the resource.
“Please encourage anyone who needs shelter to make use of this facility,” said a spokesperson for the city. “Our goal is to keep the community safe and protected during this cold weather season.”
The warming center will remain open around the clock as long as the cold temperatures persist.
