YAZOO CITY, Miss.–A man who was wanted by Yazoo City Police, did not want to go with them when they came to arrest him Friday and instead first ran into the woods, then into a house.
That happened at 12th St. and Grady Ave. When the man came back inside the house after running into the woods, he began threatening to start shooting and would not come out.
More police were called. But, some family members also helped in the effort to get the man to end it peacefully.
He eventually gave up and was taken into custody.
Police did not specify what the charge was, but said the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant. He has not been publicly identified.
