TUNICA, Miss.–The 17-year-old who was wanted in the Sunday night murder of an 18-year-old man in Tunica County, has been arrested.
According to the Tunica County Sheriff’s Dept., Mario Lester, Jr., was arrested Wednesday.
He’s accused of shooting and killing Makenzie Thomas at the intersection of Carol St., and Edwards Ave., shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies who investigated did not discuss a motive for the killing.
Lester has been charged with first degree murder and unlawful possession of a weapon.
