GREENWOOD, Miss.–One of the Delta’s most popular restaurants is closing this weekend.
Webster’s in Greenwood has announced it is closing Friday, the restaurant owners confirmed in a Facebook post. They did not give a reason.
“After over 20 years of serving Greenwood, it is with heavy hearts that we announce we are closing our doors… with Friday, April 25th being our last day,” read the post.”
We have loved all the relationships and memories built over the years and we truly appreciate your support and loyalty. We will accept and redeem gift cards until Friday. Thank you again for allowing us to serve you, it has been a great ride!”
Last year another popular restaurant in Greenwood, the Crystal Grill, closed its doors.
The restaurant says they are booked all week.
