TUNICA, Miss.–Flooding from the Mississippi River has caused the closure of Moon Landing Park in Tunica County, according to the sheriff’s department.
The department posted photos and said that much of the park is under water.
“Please respect road closed signs and do not attempt to pass. Obey postings as you shall be prosecuted if violated. Not only is it against the law, but it is seriously dangerous in these flooded areas along the river,” read the post.
Tunica County River Park remains open. But, at least one of the entrances is closed because of flooding.
