YAZOO CITY, Miss.–One person has been charged in a shooting at a neighborhood basketball game, which happened in early April in Yazoo City.
The Yazoo Herald reports Devarius Taylor was arrested by Yazoo City Police and charged with murder and aggravated assault. He turned himself in to police, said Police Chief Terry Gann.
Bond has been set at $1 million.
Two people were shot at the game on Chapman St. Killed was Donatvious Weekly, 29.
The other victim had non-life-threatening injuries.
