NASHVILLE, TN (Ben Caxton) — After winning three of their last four games to get bowl eligible for the 10th straight year, Mississippi State now knows where it will be headed for the Holidays. Nashville. The 6-6 Bulldogs will be facing the 7-5 Louisville Cardinals from the Atlantic Coast Conference in the Music City Bowl at 4:00 PM on December 30. This will be the Cardinals’ first bowl since 2017. The Bulldogs’ only previous appearance in the Music City Bowl was in 2011 when they beat Wake Forest 23-17. The last time the two teams met was two years ago in the TaxSlayer Bowl with the final score Mississippi State 31, Louisville, 27.
