JACKSON, MS (333 AM CST Sat Jan 11 2020) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Chicot County in southeastern Arkansas Southeastern Ashley County in southeastern Arkansas Morehouse Parish in northeastern Louisiana East Carroll Parish in northeastern Louisiana Northeastern Richland Parish in northeastern Louisiana West Carroll Parish in northeastern Louisiana until 430 AM CST. At 333 AM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Portland to near Sterlington, moving northeast at 65 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Severe thunderstorms will be near Lake Village and Chicot Junction around 345 AM CST. Galion around 355 AM CST. Goodwill around 400 AM CST. Oak Grove around 410 AM CST. Shelburn around 420 AM CST. Gassoway and Millikin around 425 AM CST. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Perryville, Collinston, Mer Rouge, Pioneer, Kilbourne, Forest, Bonita, Oak Ridge and Epps.
