JOHNSTON, IA (Ben Caxton) — A missing Mississippi 15-year-old has been recovered from a Des Moines suburb. Police in Tishomingo County had contacted Iowa authorities to say the girl, who was last seen in Tishomingo County, was thought Sunday to be in Iowa at a Walmart store in Grimes, Iowa, a suburb of Des Moines. Deputies in Iowa searched but could not find the girl at the Walmart but she was located a short time later about a mile away at a high school parking lot in Johnston, Iowa. She was found unharmed in the car of an Oklahoma man, 21-year-old Jared Wright, who was arrested and charged with harboring a runaway teenager.
