ITTA BENA, Miss. — Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU) has announced the appointment of Corey S. Edmonds as its new Director of Admissions and Recruitment.
Edmonds, who brings a wealth of experience in higher education administration, previously served at North Carolina Central University. He is known for his dedication to student success and has a strong background in supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
“We are excited to welcome Corey Edmonds to the MVSU family,” the university said in a statement. “His passion for student empowerment and commitment to expanding opportunities will elevate our admissions efforts.”
Edmonds is set to lead initiatives aimed at strengthening the university’s recruitment efforts and helping prospective students navigate the admissions process.
