ROLLING FORK, Miss.–An entire Delta city has been told to boil water before drinking.
Rolling Fork was placed under a boil water notice by the Mississippi State Dept. of Health because of possible contaminants in the water system.
The department says one or more water lines broke and the system lost pressure, allowing the possible contaminants to leak in.
Boiling water for one minute before drinking will eliminate most contaminants.
