GREENVILLE, Miss. — A 55-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday night on Highway 1 North, authorities said.
Officers responded to the 1600 block of the highway around 11:30 p.m., where they found Carolyn Cornelius of Boyle had been hit by a southbound vehicle. Cornelius was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is under investigation.
