CLEVELAND, Miss. — The Bolivar County Community Action Agency (BCCAA) will hold its inaugural “Fun in the Sun” fundraising event on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Bolivar County Expo Grounds. The event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., aims to bring the community together for a day of family-friendly activities.
Attendees can enjoy a variety of attractions, including bouncy houses, dunking booths, wall climbing, a bull and train ride, and giant water slides. The event will also feature games, an escape maze, and resources from local organizations such as the Bolivar County Literacy Council and Delta Health Partners.
Entry is free for children aged four and under. The BCCAA stresses that no alcoholic beverages or firearms will be allowed on the premises. Vendor forms can be picked up at the BCCAA Central Office in Cleveland, and more information is available at bccaainc.org.
Organizers encourage all citizens of Bolivar County to join the event, which aims to raise funds to support the agency’s mission of “helping people, changing lives.”
