Catalytic Converter Theft Hits MDOT Equipment in Winona: Police Seek Tips

SHARE NOW
WINONA, Miss.–Despite efforts to make catalytic converters harder to sell (crooks sell them for the metal), several were stolen off of MDOT equipment last weekend, say police.
The thieves cut through a fence and stole the converters from the bottoms of some of MDOT’s heavy machinery at the maintenance office.
If you know anything about who may be responsible you are asked to call police or Crimestoppers.
