CLEVELAND, Miss.–A woman wrecked an SUV by rolling it on a county road in Bolivar County, Monday morning.
The wreck happened on Old Ruleville Rd. near Pecan Dr. about 7:15.
When volunteer firefighters got there, they first stabilized the SUV, then removed the windshield to both protect the woman inside from debris and keep her calm while they cut her out.
They used a battery-powered version of the Jaws of Life to cut the roof off of the SUV, then pulled the woman out.
She was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
