OLIVE BRANCH, Miss.–The SWAT Team in DeSoto County was preparing for a fight with a man who holed up in a second story room at a house in Olive Branch Monday morning. But, that fight never happened.
Police encountered the man while on a domestic disturbance call on South Manor Cove about 9 a.m.
As soon as they arrived the man went inside and wouldn’t come out.
The SWAT Team was called, along with Southaven Police for assistance. They eventually convinced the man to surrender.
Police did not release the man’s name. They also did not say whether he would be facing any charges.
