The Greenville Police Department want to thank the citizens of Greenville, the WCSD and other emergency personnel for their assistance in capturing the 3 suspects in a recent Homicide.
Shortly after 2pm, GPD received a call of a shooting in the 800blk of North Theobald. When they arrived on scene, there were 2 shot victims on scene and one taken to the hospital by car. One victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital, another flown out for further treatment, and a third victim was shot in the arm.
After further investigation, 3 suspects were identified: Quamane Allen, Kendrick Parnell and Charles Bursey. Parnell and Bursey was taken into custody shortly after the shooting, but Allen was later taken into custody in Bolivar Co on other felony charges.
All have been charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of murder by the Greenville Police Department. This case is still being investigated and the arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
