Greenville Man Arrested on Aggravated Assault & Weapons charges

GREENVILLE, Miss. — A Greenville man has been arrested on multiple felony charges, including aggravated assault and weapons violations, according to the Greenville Police Department.

Police announced the arrest of Ladarien Bailey following an investigation into a recent incident. Bailey has been charged with one count of aggravated assault and two counts of possession of a weapon by a felon.

Authorities said Bailey was transported to the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility, where he is being held pending his initial court appearance.

The Greenville Police Department said it remains committed to investigating violent crimes and removing illegal firearms from the hands of convicted felons.
