GREENVILLE, Miss. — A Greenville man is dead following a stabbing incident early Thursday morning. Police say 30-year-old Sayler Dieker was found with stab wounds to his chest on East McCorkle Street around 1 a.m. on October 31. Dieker was taken to Delta Health Systems but died from his injuries.
Officers arrested Dieker’s girlfriend, 21-year-old Kendra Copeland, also of Greenville. She has been charged with murder and is being held at the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility, where she awaits her initial court appearance.
Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
