GREENVILLE, Miss. – The Greenville Police Department’s Special Operations Division, along with the Special Response Team (SRT) and Criminal Investigation Division, executed a search warrant on Friday, August 30, 2024, at a residence in the 400 block of Cedar Street.
During the search, authorities discovered drugs, firearms—some of which were reported stolen—and modified firearms at the residence. The location had been known in the neighborhood for frequent shootings and heavy gang activity.
Three Greenville residents were arrested during the raid. Cedric Curtis Jr., 27, faces charges of felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, with firearm enhancements on five counts. Jordon Johnson, 22, is charged with felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, felony possession of promethazine with codeine, and a firearm enhancement. Mautrell Clark, 18, is charged with possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a modified firearm.
All three suspects are currently being held at the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility, awaiting their initial court appearance.
