GREENVILLE, Miss. — A 19-year-old man was injured in a shooting Friday night on East Reed Road in Greenville, according to authorities.
Around 10 p.m., Greenville Police officers and Washington County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of shots fired in the 3000 block of East Reed Road. They found the victim with gunshot wounds to his leg and thigh.
Investigators are currently gathering evidence. Police have not released additional details but urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 662-378-8477. Callers can remain anonymous, and tips leading to an arrest may qualify for a reward of up to $2,000.
