MARSHALL COUNTY, Miss.–A Marshall County supervisor and his son have been accused of stealing wheat and water. A person from Benton County was also named in the indictment handed down this week.
Keith Taylor and his son Peyton were named in the indictment and arrested, along with Jacob Wilson.
The three are accused of stealing more than $5,000 worth of wheat from Yates Construction and more than $10,000 worth of water from the Marshall County Water Assoc.
All three face up to 15 years in prison and $20,000 in fines if convicted. Their next court date is in November.
The information from the court did not include why the thefts are believed to have happened.
