TUNICA COUNTY, Miss.–Marshall County received the most damage from last week’s storms, said a Monday report from the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency. But, several Delta counties have been hit hard by both severe storms and flooding, which is on-going.
So far, 274 homes have been reported damaged across the state. Four businesses and nine farms have also reported damage.
MEMA had been busy taking reports, but also providing necessities, like water and meals, to people who are trying to clean up.

Benton – 16 homes
Bolivar – 1 home, 1 business
Desoto – 14 homes
Forrest – damage assessments ongoing
Hinds – 3 homes
Jackson – damage assessments ongoing
Jasper – 28 homes, 3 farms, 1 death
Kemper – 2 homes, 1 farm, 1 business
Lafayette – 17 homes
Lowndes – damage assessments ongoing
Marshall – 88 homes, 1 business, 1 injured
Pontotoc – 1 injured, damage assessments ongoing
Smith – 11 homes
Sunflower – 4 homes, 1 business
Tallahatchie – 6 homes
Tate – 48 homes, 1 farm, 2 injured
Tippah – 14 homes, 2 farms, 3 injured
Tunica – 13 homes, 2 farms
Union – damage assessments ongoing
