MOORHEAD, Miss. — Mississippi Delta Community College is extending financial aid to students joining its Health Care Assistant program for the spring 2025 term. Prospective students may be eligible for tuition scholarships up to $3,000, textbook assistance of $500, and stipends of $250 each semester.
The Health Care Assistant, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), program is designed to prepare students for essential roles in health care. The college hopes these incentives will attract more applicants as it works to meet a rising demand for skilled health care workers in the Delta region.
