NASHVILLE, TN (Ben Caxton) — After a blowout win over Ole Miss on Saturday, Mississippi State has a double-bye and wonât play until Friday as the number 4 seed in the SEC basketball tournament. Ole Miss enters the tournament as the number 12 seed and plays Georgia on Wednesday night in Nashville. ESPNâs Joe Lunardi has speculated that Mississippi State could earn a spot in the NCAA tournament if the 20-and-11 Bulldogs play for the SEC championship game on Sunday.
