OLIVE BRANCH, Miss.–The man shot and killed by members of the Olive Branch SWAT team Monday morning, has been identified as Mark Miller, 59, of Olive Branch.
Miller had recently moved to Olive Branch and was wanted on an out-of-state warrant for two counts of possession of child pornography.
According to a news release from Mayor Ken Adams, Miller shot at police who were there to arrest him, about 9:30 a.m. at a house on Railroad Ave. Officers shot back, killing him.
No police officers were hurt and the MBI is investigating.
