ITTA BENA, Miss.–Students at Mississippi Valley State University, at least some of them , appear to have a good handle on the voting process in Mississippi.
They answered questions on video last week as part of their voting campaign called GoVoteVState.
As part of the video segments posted to Facebook students were asked questions about the vote date and some of the requirements. While some answers were rehearsed, some seemed spontaneous and the students who appeared on video appeared well-informed and enthusiastic.
Valley State cheerleaders also had a prepared cheer routine encouraging students to vote.
