JACKSON, MS (304 PM CDT Sat Jul 4 2020) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southern Chicot County in southeastern Arkansas Northeastern East Carroll Parish in northeastern Louisiana Northeastern West Carroll Parish in northeastern Louisiana Southwestern Washington County in northwestern Mississippi Northwestern Issaquena County in west central Mississippi until 345 PM CDT. At 303 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Chicot Junction, or near Eudora, moving south at 10 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will be near Eudora around 330 PM CDT. Gassoway and Millikin around 345 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Kilbourne. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
