DeSOTO COUNTY, Miss.–Two people from Holly Springs were killed in a crash Wednesday afternoon in DeSoto County.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol identified the victims as Claude and Dense Gleeton, both of Holly Springs. Both were 71.
The Highway Patrol says their car first collided with a semi truck, then hit an SUV about 2:18 p.m. on Interstate 22, near the interchange with I-269.
It was unclear how the couple ended up in the wreck.
