COLDWATER, Miss.–You won’t get the names or charges for now. But, two juveniles have been arrested and charged in the bomb threats to East Tate Elementary and Independence High School that started Aug. 14.

The Tate County Sheriff’s Dept. said in a Wednesday news release that digital information, witnesses and forensic analysis led them to the two.
Though the names and specific charges cannot be released, according to state law, because they are minors, the sheriff’s department did confirm that the charges are related to making false bomb threats.
The investigation is not over and the sheriff’s department has promised updates when they become available. In the meantime, the school district has implemented additional security measures, though the district and sheriff’s department have not been specific about what those are.
The case has been investigated by the Tunica and DeSoto County sheriff’s departments, as well as the FBI, in addition to the Tate County Sheriff’s Dept.
