Wednesday Weather Update
A line of severe thunderstorms is expected to race across the area as a strong storm system moves through. Damaging winds up to 70mph and tornadoes are the primary hazards.
In addition, winds will be very gusty AHEAD of the line of thunderstorms. Sustained winds of 35-45mph with frequent gusts of 50mph are expected from late morning through the afternoon.
NWS Jackson asks folks not to get complacent. Even if you weren’t impacted by last week’s weather, many people were. All it takes is one.

NWS also asks folks to take these forecasts seriously.
