Casino Evacuated After Suicide Threat in Tunica County

TUNICA COUNTY, Miss. — Authorities are investigating after a man allegedly threatened to kill himself at a Tunica County casino, prompting an evacuation of the property Sunday evening.

According to the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received an anonymous phone call at approximately 6:04 p.m. on July 5 from a caller who initially blocked his phone number but later identified himself as Bradley Cadenhead. During the call, the man allegedly threatened to kill himself at the casino.

The casino was immediately evacuated while law enforcement officers searched the property, including all public areas and hotel rooms.

Officials said no incident occurred, and no injured persons were found during the search. Patrons were allowed to return to the casino after authorities determined the property was safe.

The investigation was led by the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Mississippi Gaming Commission. The North Tunica Fire Department, Pafford EMS and other first responders also assisted at the scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
