GRENADA, Miss.–All it took was a storm. A building on the square in downtown Grenada collapsed Wednesday night when a storm came through.
The building’s front and side walls came down, spilling hundreds of bricks into the street and onto the sidewalk. WTVA reports that the roof collapsed earlier in the year.
The building was owned by the city engineer, who had just begun renovations.
