The NOAA NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued an ENHANCED (LEVEL 3/5) risk for a significant portion of Mississippi. Confidence is increasing in an afternoon severe weather event.
All modes of weather WILL be possible, with straight-line winds being the most prominent risk.
As we continue Mississippi’s Spring Severe Weather Preparedness Week, we ask that you put The Mississippi Weather Network teachings to work if a warning is issued for your location.
The experienced team at Mississippi Weather Network will continue to keep you informed on the threat as more information becomes available.
You can always ask questions via PM or visit the Mississippi Weather Network website for information!
