MOORHEAD, Miss. — Mississippi Delta Community College has been named one of America’s Top Vocational Schools for 2026 by USA TODAY, marking the second consecutive year the college has received the national recognition.

MDCC was one of six Mississippi institutions included on the 2026 list and ranked among the top 15% of approximately 1,800 vocational institutions evaluated nationwide.

The college was also included on USA TODAY’s 2025 list of America’s Top Vocational Schools.

The ranking recognizes colleges that offer vocational education through undergraduate certificate and diploma programs. Institutions were evaluated based on five key performance indicators: graduation rate, graduate salary, time required to recover the net cost of attendance, social mobility and diversity.

The analysis used publicly available data from sources including the U.S. Department of Education’s Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System and College Scorecard.
